I met Evelina Ulickaite in January 2017, she was a newcomer in the company still in her probation period. Since then I was her leader, and her coach, until April 2020. Besides sharing the same e-commerce team, we also worked on several projects together like the Kangaroo Team, a project to improve the company's internal communication.​  During these past three years, Evelina was a part-time worker alongside her studies. Her passion for design and communication was quickly expressed by her. Spending a few hours per week at Decathlon, her contributions were always at a high standard. Capacity to be creative and her team spirit were really good, but what stood out to me was her outstanding level of responsibility.I have had the pleasure to recruit and work with over 200 employees, and if I had to choose my top 5 team members I would have to choose Evelina.​  During these past three years, Evelina was an example for her team members. Having a part-time job, and studying a very demanding university course, didn’t stop her from participating in major projects like being responsible for the internal design of our new Distribution Center in Northampton. After an outstanding contribution, she decided to help Crawley store to improve the design of the store.​  I consider Evelina as a very good example of development within the company, by sharing her passion. I believe her development will still grow more and I’m sure whichever career path she decides to pursue, she will do with creativity, responsibility and with outstanding care for others. The selfless part of her character has been very inspiring to know and I believe has been a key element in building the Kangaroo team and it’s identity.​
