Hoodie

The central feature of the hoodie is the striking red Oni mask, invoking the formidable spirit of the samurai and the protective power associated with traditional Japanese folklore. The detail in the mask’s design is accentuated by the contrasting hoodie color, making it a standout garment.

Typography

"HUPPCIO" is emblazoned beneath the graphic in a font that mimics the edgy flair of graffiti, anchoring the hoodie in the urban landscape where music and street culture collide.

Color Scheme and Graphics

The red and white color scheme is classic yet bold, capturing attention and embodying the energy of his brand. The design nods to Japanese graphics, known as JDM (Japanese Domestic Market), indicative of high-quality, authentic designs tied to Japan's car culture.

This project unveils a custom-designed hoodie for Huppcio, tapping into the rich tapestry of Japanese cultural symbols and the gritty essence of drift racing. It was a unique collaboration that brought to life a wearable piece of art, resonating with the urban style and bold expression favored in contemporary streetwear.

The design strategy was driven by the desire to fuse traditional Japanese elements with a modern streetwear aesthetic. By incorporating iconic symbols such as the samurai mask and referencing subcultures like drifting, the hoodie serves as a bridge between the past and the present, the East and the West, traditional symbolism and modern identity.
